Kelly,

Just wanted to encourage you. I think we all go through slumps sometimes. Hang in there!

I just finished one sock (of my third pair). I cast on the mate last night.

BUT, I have a CONFESSION...I bought yarn this week for another project.

Ever since this thread moved to the KAL forum, I find myself reading the other threads here and have found some wonderful things I want to make. The temptation was just too great. So, I caved and will be making the Branching Out scarf. I cannot wait to for my yarn to arrive!

It's almost like I've been doing things backward, though. When we started this, I didn't have much of a stash, so I've been working on BUILDING the stash so I can "de-stash." I do want to clean up some of my leftover yarn from other projects though. I will be making dishcloths too (using the pattern that ArtLady gave me ).

Mom always said I did things the hard way...

I've finished three projects... wristwarmers, a stuffed dragon, and a purse. So I'm hitting the LYS for yarn for the corset I've been wanting to make Yay!

Hi all! I've been offline for a bit and am just catching up with the site :-) At my sister-in-laws prodding, I picked up my sweater (WIP) and have been working on the second sleeve. Next will be the hood, and my 1st full size sweater will be done

I also finished a pair of socks (on 2 circs)

I'd like to try a mobius scaf from the Cat Bordhi book I got for Xmas, and think I will invest in some yarn for that project as a reward for finishing the sweater. When Cat was on Knitty Gritty, they made a beautiful mobius scarf -- mabye I'll track down that yarn -- I can't wait to yarn shop again!

The weather is so awful here that a bottle of wine and a knitting project will be perfect for the weekend

Holly!! (It's snowing in fits and 50 mph gusts in our backyard)

I've done two of the Moebiuses ...Moebiiusissi ... I've done more than one Moebius like Cat did on Knitty Gritty.

They're *really* fast and fun and not nearly as challenging as you might think. Go for it!!

I haven't made anything from my stash. Instead, I sold it all! Yep. Almost my entire stash is gone. And now I have a couple hundred buck to spend on new yarn. Is that bad?

That's not bad!! That's fantastic!

I know that I've made some purchases in the past couple years that I will probably never use now that I'm beginning to understand yarn a little better. So, I've been thinking about de-stashing in that fashion, too.

Congratulations! Can't wait to see what you buy w/ the income now!

Congrats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOw's this for funky???

I got the fiber trends patterns...

I have bits of yarn from other felted projects, and I'd LOVE to have slippers from them....bits and all....so I'm going to try it.

Also, I'm in yarn-monkey's knit off...kindof a slow hard start....but all the kinks are worked out "i think", and I used stash yarn for it!!!!!!!!!!!!! YEAHHHH ME!!!!

Not my first choice of color, but I've no idea what it is that we are knitting.

Oh, and I got the stitch markers so I can make the pinwheel sweater for my godson!!!

I just normally use loops of yarn, but this you have to move each time....PITA....and can't be done with loops of yarn.

I looked at the package, adn there was 20 of them...I was looking and JUST about to say....I think I need more...and she said...you have enough there....lol....

problem tho is that HAS to wait until the competition is over!!! lol....

I have been thinking the same things.. I have a lot of wool that isn't enough to make one project but all together I thought of making some unusual clogs... if ya try it lmk how it goes..

Sounds like everyone has been busy!! That is wonderful..

I should give away some of my stash.. my mom or sil would use it... just the thought of going through it all again is enough to make me go

I keep thinking I'll try a mobius but after seeing Cat Bordhi do the CO I'm

No snow here.. we finally got rid of all the snow and Ice we got a week or so ago.. just really really windy here today..
