drop a yarn over?
I came across a pattern that uses yarn overs. It also lists instructions for one row as follows...Knit one...drop yarn question is How to drop a yarn over.

You would just slip it off your left needle and let it fall, I would assume.

If indeed you are familiar with what a yarn over looks like, when you come to it, just let it fall off of the needle.
