CHARMY, I was wondering if you received the second package that I mailed out your way on Saturday?????????

I haven't noticed you posting here in ages plus have not heard from you in many weeks. I hope you are okay and received your package.

I did my part. Enjoy!

You poor snowbear, Big bear hugs to you with oddles of strength. I'm so glad you didn't stay away. You have exactly the right attitude towards your tumor, fight, fight fight, all the way.

I've got my swapper a book, it came in the post today, then I had a mild panic, should I have bought her a book? It's a book published in the UK what if she can't find the yarn? I have done a bit of sewing for her yesterday, it was nice to do a little something.

you don't have the exact yarn to make a project... and you certainly don't need any yarn to be inspired by a knitting book. I'm sure she'll love it!

Snowbear, you are always in our thoughts and prayers!

I have some idea of what you are going through....my dad was diagnosed with a brain tumor about 2 months before my wedding...and it was an absolute nightmare time in our lives....we cried, we hugged, we prayed.....he had surgery which lasted 10 hours which I think was the worst 10 hours of our lives. But the end result? He made it through, they removed the tumor, and he was able to walk me down the aisle a month later.

So keep your chin up, your hopes raised high and your spirit strong, and you can conquer it!!!!!!!

Big hugs to you.....

Snowbear - I'm so glad you came back! I was just thinking one of my cousins had, I believe, 2 brain tumors ... 15? at least 15 years ago, and I don't think there's been a recurrence since then. So there's a little more hope for you.

I've never knit a washcloth - but now I have a reason to. ANd I was just fondling my one lonely ball of Classic Elite Beatrice (got it on sale, couldn't resist even just one skein ), wondering what to do with it .... now I know!!

Good luck, lots of hope, and massive amounts of stregnth, Snowbear!
