Maybe you could put two fairly new knitters together so we won't feel bad if we get something great, and they get well, something that a new knitter can knit.

I'm not saying anything about anyone else on here, this is entirely me, but I'm not all that good yet. I have knit dishcloths, a hat, some scarfs, a couple of change purses and that's about it. I'd feel bad if they were disappointed.

I hope that is ok to say, this is my insecurity showing, but I'd really love to do this!

Felting? Noooooo . I'm a beginner, felting and sock knitting are the two things that scare me!

felting is fun! and easy! it's just washing your knits in hot soapy water! and hides mistakes well too

i am still working on my first socks. i am at the heel (toe ups) and i just haven't been working on them
