increase's
(rs) inc 1 st in frist st. knit to last 2sts. inc1 st in next st k1
t he way i see it and iam new to knitting is you inc. in frist st knit across and inc in that st and knit the last one. right

Yes, do a kfb inc in the first st, then the same in the 2nd to last st. That will keep the increased sts inside the edge sts.
