Knitting On Continental Method
This is a nice method for teaching a beginning knitter how to cast-on, since it’s just the knit stitch but without sliding the stitch off the left needle. It’s a lovely cast-on and useful for when a project requires casting on a large number of stitches. I find it easier to work than Cable cast-on, and like to substitute it when that method is called for.
