Gauge: 5.0 stitches per inch or 20.0 stitches per 4 inches.

Beginner. Worsted weight or bulky yarn.
Gauge: 4.0 stitches per inch or 16.0 stitches per 4 inches.

Intermediate/Advanced.
Gauge: 5.0 stitches per inch or 20.0 stitches per 4 inches.

Ribbed Head Bands
Beginner. Looks even better in k2, p2 ribbing (use a multiple of 4 stitches). Make it on straight needles and sewn it up the back, for a beginner project. Use needles 2 sizes smaller than recommended for yarn for ribbing.
