Free Knitting Patterns: Baby Blankets & Afghans
Knitting a full size blanket can be quite an endeavor. However, a baby blanket can be knit up in a fraction of the time and can be just as rewarding. These free knitting patterns showcase many of the unique baby blanket and afghan designs. Whichever you choose, make sure to knit using a soft yarn that is washable. This is an excellent chance to use acrylic yarn, or wool/acrylic blends.
Broken Lines Square
Beginner/Intermediate. This traveling diagonal stitch pattern combines with horizontal garter “stripes” to create texture
